Sommer was established in 2022 and is based in San Francisco. A creatively driven project founded by Madeline Shields, Sommer draws upon the influence of Madeline's background in interior design & photo styling as well as her Scandinavian origins. Named in reference to her cross-cultural upbringing between Northern California and Southern Norway, Sommer translates to summer in Norwegian — a season, a feeling, a sense of place.
